Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education facilitates the process of scholarships/fellowships offered by the foreign countries under Cultural/Educational Exchange Programmes. Most of the scholarships are for Research, Master’s, and Doctoral studies. The students are required to apply online https://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship.

On receipt of offer of scholarship by a friendly foreign Government, the same is disseminated on the above portal giving all the details regarding eligibility criteria, value of scholarship, age limit, required qualifications, experience etc. Information is also disseminated through circulars to Institutes/Universities and UGC etc. The subject fields for which the applications are invited, are either provided by the donor country or are chosen keeping in view the national need and facilities available in the donor country.
